Description:

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR experience ideally gained within the retail sector.
  • Expertise in payroll, HR systems and HR administration.
  • People management experience.
  • CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Working experience managing Employment Law matters.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

Responsible for the HR operational tasks striving to achieve the maximum efficiency in the organization of the store team and advising on all Human Resources matters

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyses store performance, reports, and take actions to achieve company budgets and improve HR KPIs.
  • Advise and support comprising rotas and changes in structure to improve effective use of hours according to business needs.
  • Advise and support on daily planners to ensure accurate store coverage.
  • Support, organise and advise in meetings of Employee Relations nature.
  • Organise and coordinate trainings for all positions, as well as the follow up and feedback.

Support the management team with initiatives regarding training and development of the team.

  • Resolve payroll queries.
  • Coordinate any payroll changes with Payroll and Regional HR Team.
  • Ensure effective internal communication for all store employees, participating in managers meetings.

Provide proactive HR support to the store management team.
Work with the General Manager to create and have action plans in place for store succession plan.
Support the management team in the motivation of the team.
Work closely with the General Manager to monitor, identify and resolve issues affecting team morale or performance.
Support managers in performance management of staff.
Ensure effective induction process to new starters of all positions, working closely with the management team and mentors.
Working closely with the People Centre, coordinate recruitment activity for the store, from placing adverts, screening CVs, organising interviews, managing feedback.
Advise and promote company benefits and development opportunities.
Ensure exit interviews are held and feedback given on areas for improvement.
Collaborate with all Regional Team and provide support in different stores on HR related topics if necessary.
Provide regular reports to the General Manager and Regional HR Team on the performance of the store regarding all store HR KPI
To ensure Health and Safety best practices are followed throughout the store, with support of General Manager.
Manages the resources available in store according to the company’s sustainability policy.
