Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for our retail managers providing advice across all areas of ER including: absence management, dispute resolution, performance management, disciplinary, mediation, maternity leave, paternity leave, and flexible working
- Fully manage the ER cases within the client group with the support of the HR Business Partner where needed or as an escalation point for complex cases
- Maintain ER knowledge to advise correctly, and complete the ER trackers to ensure the correct internal audit trail
- Look after the HR email inbox, and acting as a coordinator between the Talent Acquisition, Generalist and Compensation & Benefits teams
- Generate contracts, change letters, acknowledgment of resignation, references and ad-hoc letter requests
- Manage the e-files and ensuring the correct documentation is saved, up to date and GDPR compliant
- Track probationary periods and facilitate with onboarding, leaver and exit interview processes
- Support the Talent Acquisition Team with the recruitment of our retail team members at all levels, including attendance at careers fairs and assessment centres as needed
- Maintain the HR Hub platform (HR local intranet site) ensuring that any changes in polices or process are reflected in the tool, and that the content remains engaging and relevant for our teams
- Actively participate in Wellbeing initiatives for our teams, in addition to supporting general wellbeing by dealing with concerns in a timely manner
- Lead by example as a Champion of our Values, Culture & Community by living our people values and recognising others who do
- Support the HR Team with any ad-hoc HR initiatives
- Actively build a close working relationship with the retail team by regularly visiting stores
