Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass FBI and State background check or Fingerprint Clearance Card as positions requires by policy or Statute
  • Defensive Driver Training Program to be completed by all agency personnel that drive on State business
  • Human Resources Certification preferre

Responsibilities:

  • Makes recommendations to address identified employee relations issues based on findings. Effectiveness data on interventions and retention. Coaching and counseling staff for better outcomes. Coaching supervisory staff for team expectations and effectiveness. Identify tools processes, actions and resources to assist staff.
  • Responsible for aiding in positive work culture through positive employee relationships and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Create and maintain secured and confidential staff records, facilitate training, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Works with supervisory staff to assist with conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, fostering a positive organizational culture, through transparent and proactive practices.
  • Collaborates with ED Human Resources and the State’s Attorney General to effectively ensure compliance with the standards and regulations of employment laws, effective responses to inquiries, investigation reporting and conclusions. Draft and review all employee relations documents.
