As our current HR Assistant is moving within the company to a new role, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in all aspects of the employment life cycle, with a focus on onboarding activities, salary and benefits administration, HR information updating and implementation, supporting managers with recruiting, and facilitating effective communication within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing necessary documentation and conducting orientation activities. Conduct the full new starter process to ensure an exemplary candidate journey.
- Assist in managing salary and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Maintain and update HR information site, systems and databases (HRIS System (YES), Time Management System (Tiima), and other HR systems and processes), ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Support managers in the recruitment process: manage the application process including scheduling interviews, coordinating communication with candidates, and maintaining recruitment records.
- Facilitate effective internal communication through drafting and distributing HR-related communications.
- Serve as the primary contact and resource for employees and managers to address HR issues, questions, and concerns, while building trust and credibility
- Maintain company benefits for all employees on relevant systems (e.g., Epassi, Terveystalo)
- Assist with research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues
- Foster a positive work environment
- Act as our local data steward
- Perform other duties as assigned
