JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Assistant, you will support the HR department in a variety of administrative and operational tasks, contributing to the smooth functioning of HR processes and employee relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally in an HR environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other HR-related software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, collecting resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and assist with new hire orientations, ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Maintain employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), updating information as needed.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records, ensuring employees complete required courses.
  • Support performance management processes by tracking performance evaluations and following up with managers on deadlines.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide information about HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Assist with payroll processing by collecting timesheets, verifying hours worked, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Contribute to HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
