ADP is hiring an experienced Human Resources Business Advisor to support our HR Outsourcing business. In this position, you will help our external clients leverage ADP’s exceptional business solutions so they can focus on what matters most to them - growing their business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Consulting experience is an asset.
  • Must be fully bilingual in French and English.
  • Must be familiar with HR legislations and regulations throughout Canada.
  • Advanced Internet and MS Office Skills (Word/Excel) required.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions.
  • Experience with ADP products and tools is considered an asset (e.g. ADP WFN, HR Assist, Siebel).
  • Must be comfortable working in ambiguous situations, and easily able to adapt to meet changing business needs.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent in HR experience.
  • HR Designation is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Educates clients on human resources legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Keeps up-to-date and proficient on a wide variety of Canadian employment laws and regulations at both the provincial and federal levels.
  • Promotes the use of tools and resources available to clients through ADP and affiliated third-party vendors.
  • Responds professionally and timely to client inquiries; Communicates directly with clients via phone, email and/or remote diagnostic tools to resolve issues. This includes investigating, researching, and analyzing client human resource inquiries to best support clients’ needs.
  • Provides the client with guidance and best practices in the various areas of human resources, including legislation, HR Policy, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, health and safety, etc.
  • Leverages every client touchpoint as an opportunity to create value for the client.
  • Participates in training and development activities to keep current on HR related topics, and system and product enhancements and changes.
  • Participates in assigned human resources projects to increase knowledge and experience including but not limited to content creation, in depth human resources research, and development of human resources training material and webinars.
  • Researches information from multiple resources to provide best practice knowledge to clients.
  • Maintains appropriate records of client contact through the case management system ensuring that case notes are professionally written and that they thoroughly and accurately capture full details pertaining to client requests.
  • Adheres to internal policies and procedures in an effort to minimize risk and liability to ADP.
  • Must be able to transition between a wide variety of HR competencies quickly and proficiently.
  • Participates in ADP client retention efforts, including helping to identify clients-at-risk.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
