Description:

SUMMARY

The HR Business Consultant performs various HR duties, including advanced, specialized, and administrative responsibilities for external clients using various HRIS/HCM systems.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of professional-level experience in human resources.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years of professional-level experience in human resources.
3+ years of experience with Paylocity Software.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an external consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues for clients
  • Advise management on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities
  • Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures for clients
  • Ensure clients comply with established policies and procedures and with any relevant federal, state, or local legislation
  • Assist in planning and organizing the strategic HR direction for clients
  • Answer non-routine requests for information on policy interpretation for clients
  • Assist with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow for clients
  • Develop methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects for clients
  • Conduct periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures for clients
  • Work on special projects
  • Lead special and cross-functional project teams
  • Present training sessions for clients
  • Attends meetings, conferences, and seminars as needed/requested
