Description:

We are looking for someone who can partner with our managers, providing comprehensive HR Business partnership with our managers. This role requires a deep understanding of the importance of supporting management to roll out our ways of working and optimise team performance in order to create a high performance culture.

You will:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and organisational development. Being the go between for remote managers in London and the team on the ground in Budapest.
  • Run regular HRBP meetings with managers covering key people data points around team performance and people data insights (holiday, sickness, leavers, starters etc)
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and employees to enhance leadership capabilities and improve team performance.
  • Drive the performance management process, including probation reviews, goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Address performance issues proactively and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the people team and Director of people to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and the people strategy.
  • Support our talent acquisition team by partnering with hiring managers to identify hiring needs.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and enhance employee retention.
  • Design and implement training and development programs to foster employee growth and career advancement.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values and mission.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and organisational commitment.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Manage HR data and reporting to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, from internal role moves to manager changes and promotions.
  • Be a point of contact for employees to escalate issues that may arise.
  • Confidence leading investigative processes and mediation between employees and knowing when to escalate the situation upwards to the Director of People.

About you:

  • Solid HRBP experience, recently working in a strategic HRBP role, preferably in the finance or technology industry.
  • Passionate about the role of HR in running a successful business, keeping up to date with latest HR/People trends and technology.
  • Forward thinking and making sure your work ladders up to a bigger picture and people strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the finance/techindustry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to have difficult conversations with empathy and care.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, performance management, and employee development.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintain a level of Integrity in all that you do
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software tools.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian.
  • Relevant degree/qualifications in HR desirable.
