THE OPPORTUNITY

As the HR Business Partner in our Toronto office,, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver HR initiatives that support Flywheels business objectives and employees. You will be responsible for providing expert HR guidance, implementing HR programs, and fostering a culture of high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone Toronto based who is excited to work in office 3x a week.

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS:

Every role starts the same, an introductory call with someone from our Talent Acquisition team. We will be looking for company and values-fit as well as your professional experience; there may be some technical role-specific questions during this call.
Every role is different after the initial call, but you can expect to meet several people from the team 1:1 and there might be further skill assessments in the form of a Take Home Assignment/Case Study Presentation or Pair Programming/Live Coding exercise depending on the role. In your initial call, we will walk you through exactly what to expect the process to be.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand their objectives and proactively provide strategic HR advice and support.
  • Lead and implement HR initiatives and programs that drive employee engagement, talent development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of HR metrics and data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead change management initiatives and support organizational development efforts to drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and development support to managers and employees, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and escalate complex HR issues as appropriate.
