Responsibilities:

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join the project.
As an HR Business Partner, you will be working with our Senior Leadership Team to support the development of an effective people strategy to include HR agenda, policies and practices. Improving and monitoring employee productivity, as well as supporting staff wellbeing initiatives will be a key aspect of this role.
You will be required to evaluate employee needs, aiming to improve relations between EKFB and its people, whilst engaging the SLT. Alongside this you will also need to monitor and report on the workforce, including succession planning and training needs for teams and individuals. This will allow you to support and advise our leaders to ensure the application of excellent people practices throughout operational delivery.
A key part of this position is to support the Head of People and manage your individual HR Team, who will have responsibility for the delivery of high-quality operational HR services for your parent company and delivery sections. Your proactive support on employee relations matters will drive effective working practices.
You will work in conjunction with HR functions within our parent companies to ensure adherence with relevant contractual terms of employment and the development of best practice policies as appropriate to the EKFB JV.
This role will require travel to our Milton Keynes Head Office, as well as to our sites along the trace from the North Chilterns to Southam.
