Flogas Ireland is a subsidiary of DCC plc, and part of their Energy division, with a long established and successful business that operates in both ROI and NI. It has two principal income streams with a well-established LPG sector and a more recent Natural Gas & Electricity business that has grown from scratch in the last 14 years to become the 5th largest provider of energy on the island of Ireland, with a rapidly growing customer base. Flogas currently employs more than 500 staff across seven different locations.
Flogas Ireland, was established in 1978 and is a leading supplier of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Natural Gas & Electricity across the island of Ireland, servicing a diverse range of market sectors and applications including the industrial, commercial, domestic, catering, agricultural and automotive markets.

UNDERSTAND THE PROJECT SCOPE:
- Familiarise yourself with the ERP project’s goals, timeline, and key deliverables.
- Identify the specific HR-related aspects that need attention during the project, including but not limited to project staff resourcing, employee wellbeing, employee incentive & recognition scheme as well as growth, learning and development of project members.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Advisor / BP role, with a particular focus on in-house recruitment and on-boarding, employee engagement
- Utilisation and implementation of HR systems advantageous
EDUCATION
- Relevant HR qualification to a degree level
- CIPD membership desirable
- Strong knowledge of employment law for ROI and/or NI
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We currently have an opportunity for a HR Business Partner who will be the HR representative on an ERP project for a 2-year period. The role will partner with the project management team to provide operational HR support to ensure the delivery of the project. The successful candidate will also partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organisational objectives. In addition, you will also engage and collaborate with the HR team to deliver the Flogas HR strategy and implementation of a variety of group HR Projects .
This role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our office location in Drogheda, Co Louth. You can expect to be based onsite two/three days per week with travel to other Flogas locations as required.
