Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This is a fast paced, multi site role supporting four key properties in the UK:

  • DoubleTree by Hilton Southampton
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Newbury North
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry

As would be expected from a multi site role there is a degree of travel involved but with this comes a degree of flexibility and autonomy in managing your time to ensure a positive work/life balance.
You will report to the Group HR Manager and join a team of six experienced HRBP’s operating across UKI. You will be supported by an HR Shared Service Centre and dedicated Learning Development Team.

Some of the activities you will be involved in in this role include:

  • Supporting business leaders to foster a positive working environment and build high performing teams
  • Educating and supporting leaders to manage a diverse and inclusive workplace
  • Working in partnership with leaders to manage complex employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinaries, redundancies, grievances, appeals, dismissals etc.
  • Training and coaching leaders in key employee relations topics
  • Supporting leaders through organisational change
  • Supporting the identification and development of talent to meet current and future needs
  • Coaching and supporting managers in the application of HR policies and procedures and ensuring compliance
  • Producing management reports and interpreting complex data to inform strategy moving forward
  • Projecting future needs in terms of labour management and developing a recruitment strategy to meet these needs
  • Raising the profile of the hospitality industry as an employer and creating a robust talent pipeline
