Description:

HR BUSINESS PARTNER

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Client, a successful company in Westmeath for a maternity cover contract lasting 15 months, with a possibility of permanency. Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for supporting the HR functions for the business, overseeing 4 sites
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and drive positive changes efficiently. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting employees and senior management on all people related initiatives to achieve the overall Business strategy.
This is a hybrid role that will require travel to various sites, and a travel or car allowance will be provided. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a supportive HR team and contribute to the overall growth and development of the business.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to work closely with senior management.
  • HR Systems Knowledge: Skilled in using HRIS and ATS for operational effectiveness.
  • Redundancy & Restructuring Programme Management: Knowledgeable in handling redundancy and restructuring programmes with sensitivity.
  • Recruitment & Selection: knowledgeable in recruitment, onboarding and employee development practices
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised and efficient, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-Sufficient: Able to stand alone and initiate actions based on strategic objectives.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable and proactive, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Employee Relations: Experience in managing ER issues, positioned towards strategic support and resolution.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree (Level 8) in Human Resource Management or another related field
  • Full clean driving licence o Ability to travel to multiple sites across ROI and if required travel to our Head Office and satellite sites in the UK
  • At least 4-5 years’ experience working as a Business Partner
  • Good knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Experience of managing people – Team of one, HR Assistant
  • Excellent organisational ability
  • Confident communicator & proven ability to influence at all levels of seniority.
  • IT literate - specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and make things happen.
  • Confident working in a fast paced, busy environment
  • A drive for innovation and improving processes/procedures.
