Are you an enthusiastic and confident junior HR or customer service professional who is keen to learn and contribute to the team and the organisation? We are hiring.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and hard-working HR Consultant to join our People Operations Team in Melbourne!
This role is integral in partnering with the business to enable people operations to run smoothly and efficiently. The team manages all of EY’s HR/Talent services and initiatives, with exceptional client service at the heart of what we strive for.
This role will focus on partnering with internal stakeholders and global teams to provide advice in relation to Talent functions, policy interpretation, talent related transactions and processes.
This role would be suitable for a motivated HR professional looking to gain experience in a global company, or a highly experienced customer service or admin professional looking to build their career.
This role is offered on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides accurate and timely guidance and HR advice in relation to HR data, policies and processes to Team Leaders, Partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Management of the administration for health cases relating to salary continuance and workers compensation
  • First line response and query management as a key contact in the central HR team at EY
  • Works with our managed services processing team to ensure quality service delivery
  • Works alongside our external payroll provider and onshore payroll team to ensure HR data is consistent across systems
  • Works in conjunction with our broader Oceania Core Business Services teams, in particular Recruitment, Payroll Mobility on processes such as employment data changes and contract generation
  • Escalates risks to the People Team Leader as required
  • Assists in the management of the global HR system/HRIS for all Oceania employees
  • Understands how each relevant EY systems relate to each other and identifies potential errors to mitigate risk
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with Payroll team members to resolve payroll-related queries related to HR information.
