Description:

LighterHR is a growing HR Consultancy and we’re looking for more HR professionals to join our team in our London office.
We provide support to start-ups to multi-nationals in a very broad range of sectors. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our clients and working with them on both day-to-day operational HR activities and more strategic HR initiatives.
The role will give you the chance to utilise your HR skills and develop your relationship building and commercial skills. You’ll get to do great work, with great clients and a great team.
Initially you’ll spend time in our offices getting to know us, our ways of working and our clients, and once you’ve got the hang of things, we operate a hybrid working model where you can spend some time at home, some time in our offices and some time on client site.
In order to be considered for the role, you’ll need to have solid HR experience dealing with the full range of employee relations issues and experience of working on HR projects such as performance appraisal systems and developing career development frameworks.
Any experience as a consultant is useful but not essential.
Salary range £45,000 - £55,000 pa. based on experience.

Specific activities of the role are:

  • To provide HR guidance to clients on HR matters, for example, performance, absence, long-term sickness, etc, considering the different courses of action available, discussing associated risks, and preparing relevant information and guidance notes.
  • To execute HR processes on a client’s behalf, such as disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring the client is kept fully informed of progress and consulted regarding all decisions.
  • To deliver projects to create and support the client’s people strategy, including redundancy, TUPE and recruitment projects.
  • To deliver projects which improve a client’s HR processes and capabilities, for example, implementing performance appraisal, aligning best practice with solutions appropriate to the client.
  • To create client HR documentation, including review and update of existing documentation, ensuring it is legally compliant and fit for its purpose.

For the avoidance of doubt, we are not a recruitment agency, we are the employer!
