PART-TIME HR COORDINATOR (4-MONTH TERM)
We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join our amazing team! This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring HR professional who is ready to catapult their career to the next level. This position is available through the Canada Summer Job Grant. *To be eligible to apply, you must:
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.

Key Responsibilities:*
The focus of the HR Coordinator role will be to:
- Perform the full cycle recruitment process for various clients, including but not limited to, the following:
- Drafting job descriptions and postings
- Screening resumes
- Phone screening candidates
- Writing up candidate profiles for presentation to hiring managers
- Participating in interviews with various hiring managers
- Reference checks
- Drafting offer letters
- Onboarding support
- Assist in the creation of client policies, handbooks, and other documents utilizing our internal template library, as required (Examples may include employee verification letters, overtime agreements, time and leave policies, professional development programs, etc.)
- Work on additional projects to gain experience in other areas of HR under the mentorship of our team of HR professionals (Examples may include compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, etc.)
- Other HR administrative tasks, as required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The person we are looking for is an energetic individual that possesses the following:

- Willingness to give and receive feedback
- Strong ability to learn new technology and systems
THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Recent graduate or actively pursuing Human Resources Management education (Certificate, Diploma, or a Bachelor of Commerce Degree)
- Interest in pursuing a CPHR designation would be considered an asset
- Prior Recruitment and/or HR experience would be considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Access to reliable transportation to travel from site to site, as necessary
