HR Coordinator – Rockwell, NC

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The HR Coordinator is responsible for promoting a World Class Team Member experience by supporting HR/TMX initiatives at the Rockwell facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or HR Professional Certification (SHRM CP/SCP or PHR).
  • 2-5 years’ work experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience within an HRIS system
  • Can operate with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Partner with TMX Manager to assist with proper application of employment practices and best practices of the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist with development training for leadership team.
  • Partner with the TMX Manager with employee investigations and documentation related to the investigation
  • Assist and be knowledgeable with leave of absence administration, including the regulations of FMLA and ADA
  • Partner with TMX Manager on recognition programs, employee engagement activities, and employee celebration events
  • Assist with the annual facility benefit enrollment meetings.
  • Assist/Support facility payroll function as a backup.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Participate in annual continuing education in the human resources competencies.
