PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests in a timely manner
- Maintain and process employee life-cycle transactions in HRIS and other HR related systems
- Ensures all HR related data and information are correct, with appropriate and regular audits
- Administer and process all employee changes in HR systems with a high level of accuracy, liaising with relevant teams (IT, Payroll, Finance etc.) as required.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefit plans, to include health and welfare plans, flexible spending plans and retirement plans.
- Support recruitment processes for our Canada, US and UK locations.
- Administer and resolve unemployment, disability, and workers compensation claims, and complete employment verifications.
- Exercise judgement, understand and apply the relevant employment labor guidelines in multiple jurisdictions
- Continuous monitoring of relevant employment labor law updates in our global locations and updating content to support changes
- Create and maintain process documentations related to HR Processes and procedures (process flows, job aids, manuals, handbooks, etc.)
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Manage the onboarding process and conduct new hire orientations
- Support and contribute to continuous process improvement and streamlining of HR processes
- Support and maintain various programs, including our employee recognition, performance management and engagement survey tools
- Plan and execute company-wide social events
