HR COORDINATOR

In business since 1957, Kent Homes is one of the largest home builders and mobile shelter rental companies in Atlantic Canada. We have 150,000 square feet of space dedicated to building quality homes year-round. We serve remote, rural, and urban centers throughout Atlantic Canada and Ontario.
Kent Homes is currently accepting applications for a HR Coordinator to join our team based in Bouctouche at our main office.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education degree completion
  • Self-starter with sense of urgency, strong analytical skills & curiosity for data
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to use time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and previous Microsoft Office experience
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, multi deadline, team-oriented environment
  • Experience with HR technologies will be considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives at the site level such as day to day recruitment, job fairs, student events & community eventsHR data management: audit and ensure data integrity of employee records across the business including training, benefits, education, onboarding tasks, manage discrepancy reporting, foreign worker / work permit reporting, etc.
  • Work with the site HR business partners on various HR projects and initiatives
  • Lead HR analytics and reporting for the specific business unit including metrics and scorecards, dashboard management and development and drive the adoption and use of HR technology (HRIS, employee engagement, recognition, learning platforms, etc.)
  • Assist with the administration of tracking training, performance evaluations and other administrative duties that arise, while continuously looking for ways to automate, standardize and/or improve these tasks
  • Coordinate administration and reporting of recognition and service awards, wellness reimbursements, engagement surveys and other HR activities
  • Coordination of employee communication events
