Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for effective execution of HR support functions for multiple site locations (market/region assigned) supporting the HR Department with responsibilities including administration, processes, and systems. This position will maintain HR information ensuring complete confidentiality at all times; and maintaining an awareness of federal and state employment related laws and regulations. This position will work in partnership with other HR members and market leaders and will support HR’s initiative in providing timely customer service to all client groups and HR team.
Responsibilities:
Remote, In person if within 35 miles of Coral Gables Florida.
$20-$21/ hour, depending on experience.
East Coast time zone.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma/GED Equivalency
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Human Resources field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Human Resources or Administrative support role
- Strong organizational and planning skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks as they arise
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment without compromising the quality of the work product
- Ability to work in a team-driven environment or work independently
- Excellent customer service skills are essential to the success of the position
- Must have proficient computer software skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer
- Oracle R12 and UKG experience a plus
- Must possess high ethical standards and possess an expert ability to handle sensitive and critical issues while protecting confidentiality
- Expert ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while managing internal customer expectations
- Solid ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and successful stress tolerance
- Solid ability to research issues and problem solve; meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving work; develops innovative approaches and ideas
- Strong ability to follows instructions, respond to management direction; keep commitments and deadlines
- Experience working in multi-site company is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide HR assistance to on-site and remote employees and managers.
- Process all Oracle and UKG system administration including employee data entry and modifications (reporting chain, title changes, location changes, transfers, terminations, and cost center changes).
- Oversee the employee new hire data entry process ensuring data is in the system in a timely manner (including I9 form) and all necessary forms are submitted to payroll.
- Track employee leave requests, assist with leave management questions, ensure necessary medical documents and releases are submitted in a timely manner.
- Manage electronic employee files.
- Create various reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis as requested by HR and other departments.
- Monitor effectiveness of human resources programs with an eye on continuous improvements. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Send out various employee communications regarding benefits enrollments and benefit offerings.
- Manages unemployment claims and ensures timely response.
