POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position reports to the Director of Compensation & Benefits and works closely with the Director of Talent & Development. The position will work to maintain and improve reporting and analytics across the HR function and will serve as the system administrator for the HRIS system. As the HRIS system admin, the role will represent Amcor Rigid Packaging as a member of the Amcor global HR system team. This position will create and manage reporting and analysis to support talent reviews, business and growth initiatives, and Human Resources key performance indicators (KPIs).
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

For each of the priority areas, this role has various levels of involvement in/responsibility for: data collection, reporting, analysis, measurement, scheduling, tracking, logistics planning and various other actions that enable successful accomplishment.

  • Serve as a valued business partner to the HR team to identify opportunities for improvement; analyze data and create metrics to provide HR leaders with information to drive decision-making
  • Proactive in building positive relationships among team members and other functions with which the team interacts.
  • Ability to express thoughts and findings clearly and succinctly (both written and orally); tailors communications for different audiences; listens well and effectively contributes to discussions; makes technical points understandable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: bachelor’s degree, (Computer Science, IT, Business, Human Resources, or related field)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience developing complex reports and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Strong business analytics skills experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and transforming data into insights.
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong work ethic with ability to leverage others and work in a cross functional environment.
  • Self-initiative and commitment to excellence
  • Experience with dimensional data modeling, database design, and data visualization (preferred)
  • Experience in Learning and Development and Talent analysis and reporting (preferred)
  • Workday/HRIS experience and transition from one HRIS to another (preferred)
  • Effective communicator
  • Travel 0-10%
