Description:
Our client based in Newmarket are seeking an experienced HR Director(Interim) to oversee all aspects of human resources functions. The HR Director (Interim) will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs that support the company’s overall strategic objectives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As the HR Director (Interim) you will be:
- Developing and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Overseeing the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Developing and administering HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage the performance evaluation process and provide guidance to managers on performance management issues.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, incentive plans, and employee benefits.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee records and HR systems.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
As the HR Director (Interim) you will have:
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
