Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a HR Director, Germany, you act as a visible people leader supporting the local management in the HQ of sennder to drive high engagement and talent retention in sennder Germany. You lead a team of People Business Partners (PBP), local People Operations (POPs), and local office management. You’ll be part of the global people team, working collaboratively with the global people teams on talent acquisition , organizational development activities, and driving business outcomes.

- Be driving a high energy, high engagement office in which people love to work
- Shape the people strategy for Germany in alignment with the German team’s business objectives
- Actively contribute to the company people strategy and implementation of global initiatives
- Set high standards for the people processes in terms of employee experience and adherence to local legislation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the German leadership team on global HR priorities, including performance management, talent development, employee engagement, etc.
- Initiate local (career/development/engagement) programs to further build the reputation of employer of choice
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Be responsible for workplace services and office management
- Build, develop, and mentor the German people team
