YOUR MISSION

We are looking for an HR & Engagement Intern to join the People team at BlaBlaCar. Their mission is to foster a unique atmosphere in our office in Warsaw, centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion, while upholding BlaBlaCar principles and culture. As an HR & Engagement Intern, your role will be to organize both regular and occasional events, as well as managing basic HR tasks to support our PL team. You will be reporting to the HR Country Specialist PL and working with the People Team.

  • You have excellent communication skills (written and oral), you’re humble, and you enjoy sharing & learning from others
  • You are creative, proactive & love bringing new ideas to the table
  • Full working proficiency in Polish and English

  • Ability to take ownership, aligned with business priorities
  • Nice to have: previous HR experience & advanced level of Ukrainian

Responsibilities:

  • Boost communication and drive engagement around social & environmental topics
  • Run our day-to-day engagement initiatives (BlaBlaBreakfast, BlaBlaSnacks, Afterworks)
  • Coordinate the upcoming team-buildings by selecting themes, discovering engaging activity providers, and sharing event details with all employees
  • Support basic HR task, such as keeping track of working hours, maintaining HR databases and employee records, providing support for HR-related inquiries from employees
  • Conduct research on HR best practices or industry trends
