JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced HR Executive to join our team at Matrix Finishes LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and a passion for creating a positive and productive workplace. The HR Executive will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a similar role
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state laws
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
  • Conduct employee orientations and ensure new hires are properly onboarded
  • Oversee performance management, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback to employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Stay current on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company’s practices are up-to-date
