JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced HR Executive to join our team at Matrix Finishes LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and a passion for creating a positive and productive workplace. The HR Executive will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a similar role
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state laws
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
- Conduct employee orientations and ensure new hires are properly onboarded
- Oversee performance management, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback to employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
- Stay current on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company’s practices are up-to-date
