JOB DESCRIPTION

Danfoss is looking for a proactive and business-oriented HR Generalist with a substantial HR toolbox and the ability to act as trusted advisor and tactical sparring partner to leaders. You will be orchestrating HR across global and local teams operating in Denmark to offer a smooth and top-of-class HR experience a.o using your abilities to challenge status quo and thinking outside of the box.
You will join a team of dedicated HR Professionals who ensure that the organizational aspects, processes and not least people are considered when implementing strategic initiatives and decisions impacting global and local teams in Denmark.
You will be the single point of contact in people topics for global and local leaders in the businesses you work with and will be securing the execution of the HR strategy in close collaboration with the HR Business Partner’s.
In HR, we are on a transformational journey, so we are looking for a colleague who is a true advocator for growth mindset, who sees possibilities rather than problems and who can work with both operational and tactical tasks while retaining a strategic view.
For the more operational tasks in the role, you will be well supported by our European AskHR function that is under rapid development.
Your primary work locations will be Kolding and Nordborg.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

You have a relevant degree at least at Bachelor’s level within psychology, HR or business and min 3-5 years of experience from a similar position coaching leaders and applying an extensive HR toolbox. You might have experience from a HR Business Partner role or even as a business leader developing your own team. You probably have experience in process implementation, change management and leading transformational processes.
On a personal level, you have an outgoing personality and a solid business understanding and interest. With your self-driven and proactive approach, you naturally identify needs and resolve issues. You set the agenda and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances with a sense of urgency. You are an empathetic people person who meet others with an open mind and professional interest. To succeed, you will need profound skills in coaching, relationship-building and in influencing others.
This is a truly cross-functional and cross-organizational role, and you will collaborate with stakeholders across our matrix organization. Consequently, you need to be a good communicator at all levels, and to be able to deal with adversity and competing priorities. Finally, you speak and write Danish and English fluently.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Act as a go-to trusted advisor, business HR liaison, coach and change agent for leaders/people managers, handling tactical people issues and topics.
  • Proactively monitor local business needs and use data and analytics to: understand the needs, translate them into people strategies, influence decisions, drive performance and achieve objectives within the area you support.
  • Guide, coach, develop and support leaders/people managers on people topics and global leadership processes, enhancing the employee experience.
  • Ensure effective communication and implementation of change management initiatives, fostering high engagement and successful outcomes.
  • Together with leaders/people managers collaborate on employee development, ensuring key workforce skills and capabilities are identified and developed to meet future market demand and business needs.
  • Together with business leaders drive company culture and engagement to support goal achievements, psychological safety and an inclusive work environment.
  • Align priorities with HR Business Partner’s and ensure consistent support across the HR organization.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and ethics.
  • Support leaders finding solutions to operational matters not least by promoting the use of our European AskHR function.
