JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN HR GENERALIST AT GO AUTO HEAD OFFICE IN EDMONTON, ALBERTA!
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Generalist to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As an integral member of our Human Resources department, you will have the opportunity to assist in various HR functions, including employee standard and human rights complaints, investigations, and research projects. This role will report directly to the Director of HR and will involve collaboration across different departments within our organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post Secondary education in Human Resources would be an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in HR-related roles, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and human rights regulations across Canada and the US.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- Experience with US HR practices, particularly in Washington State, is considered a significant asset.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing employee standard and human rights complaints in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances and concerns, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
- Support the Director of HR in conducting research on HR best practices, industry trends, and legislative updates to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including maintaining HR records, preparing reports, and coordinating HR-related events or activities.
