Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The human resource generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with department managers. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: HR Database management, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, policy implementation and HR reporting. He/she should also be aware and kept abreast of market best practices and updated employment legislation to ensure that the Company HR practices are in compliance and up to date.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Possess a good understanding of the Local Employment Act and practices
  • Experience in Oracle HRIS will be preferred
  • Organised, with attention to detail and proficient with numbers
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A high level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with associates and parties inside and outside of the company

Responsibilities:

HR Operations

  • Accountable for HR Operations work, including advising global HR operation matters and streamline the processes, supporting the various points of the employee life cycle for the offices that regional team supports, including Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Australia
  • Ensure smooth running of HR operations by facilitating onboarding, staff insurance, eleave and benefits administrations including expats expenses claim
  • Ensure accurate and tracking of staff movement record as well as managing contents for employment documents
  • Assist in the update of HR policy manuals and employee handbooks and ensure compliance with changing or new legislations.
  • Participate and contribute to employee recognition, engagement and wellness activities as part of the wider HR teams’ activities
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

HRIS Support

  • Responsible for HRIS work in Oracle including maintaining HR database including the Core HR Module and Absence Management Module for all countries across APAC and Europe
  • Be the first point of contact in HRIS troubleshooting and maintenance for global locations
  • Prepares HR reporting, dashboard updates, attrition reports and etc
  • Participates in projects and tracking deliverables.
