Description:
Our client, a leading insurance company in Mississauga, is looking to hire an HR Manager to support both day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire recruitment process by creating compelling job descriptions and attracting potential candidates.
- Search for top talent through social media platforms and local partnerships.
- Represent HR in a friendly manner by delivering guidance and cultivating a positive work environment.
- Manage employee relations effectively by conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Simplify HR procedures and design policies that mirror our Canadian values and support our workforce.
- Collaborate on special projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian labor laws, coupled with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Technical execution of policies, ensuring local policies, procedures, and employment documents are up to date according to local legal requirements.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility to adapt to various challenges.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
