Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Generalist provides thoughtful, systematic and hands-on support for the HR function in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, performance management and compensation for the entire organization. This position reports directly to Sr. Director of People Operations but will be expected, in a short time, to become independent and run most HR-related activities from a process / procedure perspective on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the employee record.
  • Process documentation relating to employee life cycle events, including onboarding, changes and terminations.
  • Manage the administrative aspect of and prepare reports relating to performance evaluations.
  • Support recruiting efforts when needed. This can include assisting in the coordination of staffing and recruitment processes as well as interviewing.
  • Execute onboarding strategies and support new employees’ orientation to deliver an exceptional early experience.
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions according to organizational objectives.
  • Support in conducting exit interviews.
  • Assist the Sr. Director of People Operations in work with outside consultants
  • Support in developing and delivering various HR trainings (open enrollment, performance evaluations, etc.)
  • Reinforce the company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees’ safety.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR files.
  • Handle other HR duties, as needed.
    This is a remote position.
    This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
