Description:

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization in a hands on capacity. They will maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by leading recruitment efforts, focusing in employee relations, process planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. This HR Business Partner role is a permanent, full time role and is an in office position. Responsibilities:
- Participates in the recruitment process
- Lead the performance management process
- Acts as a resource for employees, supervisors, and managers.
- Recommends, creates, and administers HR policies
- Manages employee relation calls and letters; ensuring each issue is resolved fairly and according to employment law guidelines as well as company policy.
- Ensures compliance with various legislation
- Performs confidential investigations
escalates matters as needed to the next level.
- Manages employee relation matters concerning accommodations, short-and-long-term disability claims,leaves of absences, WSIB claims, and safe and early return to work.
- Assists in developing communication and training on various topics.
5 or more years of HR Experience
Experience in a manufacturing setting required
Post secondary education in Human Resources
CHRP or CHRL designation an asset
Experience using HRIS systems an asset
