Responsibilities:
- To perform tasks that are undertaken by the Cleansing Unit as required.
- To inspect, report, clean, and unblock pits and drains including operation of mechanical boring and flushing equipment.
- To operate and maintain drainage maintenance vehicles and equipment.
- To assist with the transfer of waste to disposal sites.
- To provide direction, on-the-job training, and advice on safe working practices to Cleansing staff as required.
- Conduct daily operator maintenance on trucks and mobile plants as required.
- To be available for any emergency works and possibly be available for the After-hours duty officer roster.
