The Role & What You Will Be Doing
The Human Relations Intern will provide administration support, with a particular emphasis on payroll, well-being initiatives, time attendance records (TMS), on-boarding and off boarding employees.
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the HR Intern role will make an impact:
- Assist with the provision of management reports on absence, staff turnover, overtime statistics and other key metrics on a monthly basis.
- Point of contact for employee Education Support program
- Support engagement and employee relations initiatives and activities
- Manage the administration of our Reward and Recognition program.
- Point of contact for wellbeing initiatives.
- Proactively and positive branding company events and milestones
- Support payroll activities
- Involvement in Viatris close contact HR initiatives
- Support talent acquisition as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Completed 3rd level qualification in Business/HR Related discipline.
- Must possess knowledge of Irish employment law.
- Excellent communications skills - verbal, written and presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong administration skills including MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
- Good time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
- Excellent organisational abilities with the ability to multitask.
- Attention to detail is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to be successful in this role.
- Strong work ethic, results driven.
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
