Description:
Are you an experienced HR Manager seeking a unique opportunity in a globally recognised design studio? An award-winning studio in Central London is looking for an HR Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave contract, offering a competitive salary package between £40,000 - £45,000.
This prestigious studio is renowned for its innovative design and global presence, with a supportive team culture that values individual development. The HR Manager will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing this culture, managing all employees in London and providing support to their American office studio as needed.
As the HR Manager, you will lead the entire employee lifecycle from interview through to separation. This includes sourcing and vetting candidates, conducting interviews, and leading the induction process of all new hires. You’ll be involved in creating documentation for all new hires, overseeing probationary periods, and participating in compensation and employee benefits.
Performance management will be a key part of your role, supporting the appraisal and Personal Development Plan (PDP) process for all employees in London. You’ll conduct regular reviews for new employees and annual appraisals for all other employees, working alongside team leaders. Your recommendations will have a significant impact on decisions relating to training, promotions, and compensation increases.
In the event of resignations, dismissals, and terminations, you’ll manage the process, ensuring all actions follow internal policies and legal requirements. You’ll also conduct exit interviews, providing valuable insights for the studio’s continuous improvement.
Beyond these duties, you’ll provide guidance and support to the management team regarding all HR matters, conduct annual HR meetings with all employees, and manage all annual leave admin. You’ll also lead disciplinary and grievance proceedings, manage any redundancy processes, and work with the CEO/COO to implement succession planning.
