YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To succeed in this role, you will have broad HR generalist skills, enjoy being hands on and visible within the business, while having the confidence to work autonomously. Ideally you will be tertiary qualified, able to think strategically, yet deliver operationally. You will demonstrate a strong business acumen and a working knowledge of NZ employment legislation and best practice HR standards, including experience in recruitment and employee relations. A passion for enhancing a positive culture along with exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills will be critical to your success. Experience within the manufacturing sector is desirable but not essential. More importantly is your ability to be a team player who is committed to contributing to a high performing team and working within the values of trust and respect.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Located in Rangiora, and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role provides specialist Human Resources leadership and capability to the wider management team and business. You will be responsible for key HR areas including employee relations, recruitment, talent management, workforce planning and performance development. You will provide employment relations oversight in support of the leadership team’s overarching strategy while implementing best practice people processes across all stages of the employment lifecycle.
