We are working exclusively with an entrepreneurial food manufacturer in their search for an HR Manager to join their team in Kent. The HR Manager will look to support and lead the HR function whilst implementing and developing HR strategies, systems and procedures in order to create a positive and engaging working environment for all.

The person that will be successful as the HR Manager will:

As a company, they are highly innovative and supply some of the most quality focussed retailers within the UK, as well as supplying big names on the high street and see huge uplift during seasonal peaks. Alongside this they have strong private equity backing which further fuels the innovation. As the HR Manager, you will be afforded a large level of autonomy as you drive a positive and engaging working environment. This, combined with the growth of the business, will see your remit grow further.

The experience you need to be successful as the HR Manager:

  • Experience leading a team as an HRBP or HR Manager
  • Expert knowledge around HR best practice, systems and compliance. This will ideally be backed by a CIPD or other relevant qualification
  • A background within a manufacturing environment, ideally within food manufacturing

The key responsibilities of the HR Manager will include:

  • Establishing contracts, policies, auditing requirements and maintaining staff records
  • Promoting a culture of ownership, accountability and care
  • Setting up mandatory training as well as development programs within the business
  • Implementing best practice around systems to support the management of employee files and other HR tasks

To the successful candidate they are offering circa £65,000 plus wider package.
