Description:
The HR Manager will act as a key member of the People Team and report to the Head of HR UK&I, based in UK. As HR Manager you will develop, implement and lead a range of HR initiatives and build strategic direction for the HR Department in Ireland.
HR MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working as part of senior team, ideally in multinational environment.
- Experience with Irish employment law and legislation.
- Previous experience in implementing and delivery of various business strategies.
- CIPD qualification or Degree in HR, Business Studies or other related discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in working in unionised environment would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership of the local HR operations.
- Direct the delivery of the management and resolution of all employee relation issues, in line with the employee legislation, company policies and best practice.
- You will be main contact for all union communication and engagement.
- Provide HR advice to all business units, challenging behaviour not in line with our DNA.
- Play a role in the leadership and implementation of local DEI initiatives.
- Lead, coach and develop the People Team, working closely with Head of L&D on succession planning of the department.
- Manage & shape the delivery of all process and policy improvement across the HR function, ensuring these are well communicated to the wider business.
- Identify the potential capabilities of the business for any improvements or additional initiatives.
- Design and implement engaging development initiatives for the wider business
- Own and maintain local HR systems.
- Support Line Managers with the induction, probation and performance management procedures.
- Management of disciplinary procedure, performance management, redundancy, long-term sickness and any other business-related issues.
- Work closely with the UK team on integration of HR processes, operations and future project implementations.
- Represent the HR function in all industry and employee engagement forums.
- Contribute to the future strategic direction of the people function.
