Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting one our Sheffield based manufacturing clients to recruit a HR Manager for their site. Reporting into the MD and supporting the site Managers and team leaders, the role will be supported by a HR Assistant and together will have full responsibility for all HR for a headcount of <300. The HR Manager will lead on all day to day HR providing support to employees on the full HR life cycle.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Business partner approach to management teams providing coaching to leaders and employees
- Supporting employees day to day, responding to engagement issues and finding solutions
- Developing a positive culture, ensuring a great place to work
- Responsible for initiating and leading on leadership development, talent management, performance management, organisational design and change management projects when required
- Developing learning and development initiatives and facilitating competency training
- Supporting on all employee relations, within a positive unionised environment
- Lead on talent, recruitment and workforce planning
- Lead on ED&I strategy development
- Managing the HR Assistant and all HR administration and compliance
- Reporting on HR MI.
- Work with business leaders to ensure goal setting, performance evaluation, and performance coaching
- Lead on HR strategic projects as required and successfully implement via business leaders
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS THIS ROLE:
- 5 years + HR Business Partner / HR Manager experience, ideally gained with a unionised manufacturing or similar environment
- Confident to lead the HR function
- CIPD qualified – Level 5 or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of relevant HR policies, procedures and employment law
- Experience of using/implementing HR Information Systems
- Strong interpersonal, influencing skills, collaborative approach and customer focused
- Confident to work autonomously, make decisions, calm approach
This role will suit an already experienced HR Manager or HRBP or a Senior HR Advisor with some experience looking to take a step up into an autonomous role.
