HR Manager, Finland

We are looking fro a dynamic and inspiring HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Human Resources services and responsibilities across Ahlstrom sites in Finland (about 270 employees), including Filtration manufacturing plant in Tampere, Glassfiber tissue plant in Kotka, and Ahlstrom HQ in Helsinki, as the current position holder is moving to new challenges in Ahlstrom.
HR Manager partners with local leaders and workforce on all people and employment matters, and ensures smooth day-to-day HR operations by leading a team of local HR professionals.
The position reports to the Head of HR Operations Europe & Asia, and can be based either in Tampere or Kotka.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in Human Resources or relevant field
• Credible, 7-10 years of experience in people and employment matters
• Experience in supporting manufacturing and matrix environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to influence, gain trust and build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• A people-first, inclusive, and continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated integrity in handing sensitive HR information and employee issues
• Desire to grow and learn
• Willingness to travel between sites in Finland
