Description:

1.1 Manpower needs

  • Understand the requirements of different job scopes
  • Study job markets , government policies etc and develop hiring strategies and plans to fulfill manpower needs
  • Research on market salary trends and advise Management to adjust salary and compensation packages as necessary to maintain competitiveness.
  • Maintain good and professional relationship with Manpower/ Recruitment agencies so as to tap on their support of urgent manpower need

3.1 Recruitment & Selection

  • Prepare job description and liaise with agency for advertisement.
  • Interview and select temporary/contract/non-exempt positions, liaise with Operations on their manpower requirements, etc.
  • Prepare Appointment Letter and arrange pre-employment health screening (if required).
  • Issue and manage locker keys, safety apparels, etc.
  • Open file for new employees and update of employees’ profile
  • Prepare employment certification letter as requested

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the various Department Heads on the following:

1.1 Manpower needs

  • Understand the requirements of different job scopes

  • Maintain good and professional relationship with Manpower/ Recruitment agencies so as to tap on their support of urgent manpower needs

1.2 Employee Welfare / Benefits

  • Research on market welfare and benefits trends and advise Management to adjust our packages as necessary to maintain competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement extra curricula activities and events to foster teamwork and boost morale among employees
  1. ISO System
  • Manage HR procedures and systems pertaining to HR matters and ensure they comply with required ISO standards and customer requirements.
  • Represent HR Department during ISO and Customer audits
  1. Facilitate HR Executive for the following and support as necessary :

4.1. Training Course Administration

  • Source and register for courses, workshops etc.
  • Raise cheque payment, send confirmation note to employees
  • Process SDF claims and other training matters as required
