Description:

    Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

  • Cultivate effective partnerships with employees and managers throughout the organization to foster collaboration, enhance work relationships, bolster morale, and drive increased productivity and retention rates.
  • Offer day-to-day guidance on performance management to line managers, encompassing coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary measures.
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations issues through conducting thorough, objective investigations.
  • Play an integral role within the company Recreation Club, assisting in the planning and coordination of organization-wide employee engagement initiatives such as team-building exercises, annual dinners, family days, and overseeing related budgetary allocations.

Talent Acquisition

  • Utilize recruitment channels, including social media platforms, for talent attraction, and employ data mining techniques to source, pipeline, and shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Harness hiring data and analytics to optimize talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, performance and talent management, talent attraction and retention efforts, and enhance diversity and inclusion within the company.
  • Collaborate with line managers to conduct interviews and assessments, and partner with the Marcom department on study grant sponsorship initiatives.
  • Establish partnerships with universities, institutes, and ITEs for internship programs and career fairs.
  • Ensure effective day-to-day HR support, including managing employee pre-boarding, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

Centre of Excellence

  • HR letter preparation and monitoring work pass-related applications, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Organize company-wide events such as employee engagement activities, team-building exercises, dinners, family days, and active days.
  • Assist in various HR projects and initiatives, including the development of HR policies and procedures, job evaluations, employee engagement surveys, performance appraisals, time management systems, and retention plans.
  • Prepare employee vouchers and certificates for occasions such as birthdays.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and collaborative team player with a high level of emotional intelligence, accustomed to hands-on involvement, multitasking, and prioritization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various HR disciplines including talent acquisition, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, performance management, and employment laws.
