Our client is a full-service professional services firm headquartered in Singapore. They are currently looking for a HR Manager to lead their local HR operations and regional HR initiatives.
about the job

As HR Manager, you will lead a team in Singapore to oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources operations and functions. Your responsibilities:-

  • Uphold the firm’s talent strategy, in recruitment, total rewards, talent retention and people development initiatives
  • Lead and implement talent initiatives and policy reviews
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees on talent matters
  • Collaborate with senior business stakeholders on people matters including employee engagement and performance management
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals locally
  • Implement and update HR policies in a timely manner, in accordance with business objectives
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across APAC on regional HR projects and strategies
  • Lead recruitment efforts including career fairs and relationship building with educational institutions
  • Stay updated on industry salary benchmarks and collaborate with management on compensation and benefits reviews
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Learning and Development Lead to talent development initiatives
  • Other ad-hoc HR duties as required

skills and experience required

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in HR and HR Business Partnering, experience in leading teams preferred
  • Well-versed in Singapore labour law, up-to-date with local HR trends and able to act as the trusted HR subject matter expert
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Goal-oriented, commercially aware, and problem-solver, with the ability to coach and mentor team members and passionate about working with people
