Overview:
Keller Management Services is seeking a HR Manager - Talent Acquisition.
As the Manager Talent Acquisition, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting top talent for Keller. You will lead our efforts in building strategic partnerships with universities, leveraging data and analytics to drive recruitment strategies, and ensuring the continued growth and success of our team. In this role, you will lead, develop, and mentor a team of Recruiters who will have a dashed reporting line to the HR Business Partners supporting the Business Units.
This position can be based in our Hanover, MD or Chicago, IL location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent in the field of civil engineering, with a focus on leveraging university and external relationships.
  • Utilize data and analytics to analyze recruitment trends, track key performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize our talent acquisition process.
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and making hiring recommendations to department heads.
  • Optimizes use and performance of ATS system to ensure hiring managers and TA team utilizes all performance features with data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs, develop, and maintain job descriptions, and create compelling recruitment campaigns.
  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process to ensure a diverse and equitable workforce.
  • Work across teams to plan, execute, and improve strategy, using data-based tools to identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities within campaigns and develop solutions to achieve outcomes.
  • Provide solutions to enhance selection process including behavioral interviewing and the use of assessment tools to ensure hiring managers make the right decision.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for key positions to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition and implement innovative strategies to attract top talent.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, communicating legislative changes, and conducting training on legal updates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or relevant experience in field
  • Experience leading Recruitment in a large multi-state organization.
  • Experience in Construction industry preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in Recruitment or HR.
  • Strong understanding of university recruitment strategies and experience building relationships with academic institutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience using HR analytics tools to drive recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the recruitment process.
  • Must be willing to travel 20-30%
