Workforce Solutions partners directly with teams looking to hire top talent. We are currently working with a family owned manufacturing company looking for a HR Manager to manage their HR function for their Madison, WI location.
WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DO I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
- Experience working as an HR Manager; experience in manufacturing or a similar industry a plus.
- Experience processing payroll.
- Strong computer competency required in Microsoft Office for ability to work within company software programs.
- Ability to always provide the highest level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Extremely detail oriented to ensure accuracy in all HR tasks.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills used in completing tasks.
- Handles a fast-paced environment and deadline pressures well, planning and carrying out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Experience in small business setting a plus.
Responsibilities:
The HR Manager is responsible for managing the human resources function for the company working closely with the executive team. This role will have oversight of all HR areas including payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and recruiting. An ideal candidate will be able to balance executing tactical HR work with accuracy while also making recommendations for strategy and department improvements to better the company.
