Description:

people2people are recruiting for a HR and Office Manager to join a small and busy team within the Fashion industry. You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR services to the l team while effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the office. The company specialise in Fashion and Lifestyle products so ideally you will have experience in working for a Fashion brand / retailer or Lifestyle brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are seamlessly integrated into the team and culture.
  • Monitor and support employees during their probation period.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures to promote efficient and effective ways of working within the organisation.
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by organising team-building activities, promoting employee recognition, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including facilities management, supplies procurement, and vendor management.
  • Be the front-face of the office, including meeting and greeting visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and proactively addressing any potential issues.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 certification or equivalent qualification in Human Resources.
  • Proven experience in a similar HR and office management role, preferably within the fashion and lifestyle industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong knowledge of HR Systems and software
