Our client is in the banking industry, headquartered in Hong Kong with a global presence. They are currently looking for a HR Officer on a 1-year Contract.
about the job
Reporting to the Head of HR in Singapore, you will be responsible to
- Provide comprehensive HR support throughout the employee life cycle, including hiring processes, due diligence checks, and pre-employment activities for new recruits.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports, aligning with new regulatory requirements.
- Provide full HR administrative support for onboarding new hires, managing employee personal files, and facilitating the offboarding process for departing employees.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports to Head Office and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in identifying relevant training programs for individuals needing to fulfill CPD and training hour requirements.
- Manage the registration of employee insurances with the designated vendor and address employee inquiries.
- Coordinate with Head Office to facilitate the creation of staff IDs for new joiners and input monthly training hours for employees of the Singapore branch
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by the immediate supervisor.
skills and experience required
- Diploma in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
- Minimally 2 years of relevant HR experience within the financial services industry
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
