As the HR Officer, you will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions.
HR Officer is responsible for the coordination and administration of day-to-day people operations and office management. As an employee-focused, passionate, and resourceful HR, you will undertake a wide range of HR responsibilities like managing end-to-end recruitment & selection process, organizing trainings, administering employee payroll benefits and leaves as well as administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You will also act as the primary point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related matters.
HR Officer must exercise due diligence to ensure that the organisation complies with all local, state, and federal regulations for HR and WHS requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduated in Law, Psychology or equivalent. A Human Resources specialization or Master is a plus.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in relevant HR role. Multi-task and used to address/conduct different projects at the same time.
  • A previous experience in a relevant position in recruitment, development and/or training will be highly appreciated.

Responsibilities:

  • Use HRIS to manage payroll and employee compensation and benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and conduct absences administration.
  • Responsible for fortnightly AU & NZ payroll processing.
  • Manage end to end recruitment and selection process including: drafting position descriptions, job posting on internal and external job board websites and LinkedIn or other social media platforms.
  • Managing recruiter relationships (identifying suitable partners, managing terms and conditions, supporting management team in selection, and briefing of recruiters).
  • Preparing and issuing of employment documents including employment contracts, termination documents, general employee letters etc.
  • Plan onboarding strategies and perform new employees’ orientation to deliver an exceptional early experience.
  • Build strong relationships with the management team and support their HR-related matters.
  • Manage/support employees related documentation and processes.
  • Assist in reviewing, developing, implementing, and promoting HR policies and procedures.
  • Drive People and Wellbeing initiatives across the business.
  • Support implementing HR annual practices such as annual performance appraisals, salary increment and bonus reviews.
  • Actively participate in performance management processes and supporting line managers with performance development and identification of staff training needs, while maintaining up-to-date reports relating to performance evaluations.
  • Recording and reporting of HR statistics monthly.
  • Responsible workers compensation claims management and managing RTW programs.
  • Complete the necessary requirements for the delivery of all audits, reconciliations, compliance, and reporting requests.
  • Develop local training programs, utilizing corporate and local resources to ensure we have a workforce with the right skills, attitude, and potential.
  • Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees’ experience.
  • Oversee employee labour and HR federal laws and regulations to assure compliance.
  • Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relations.
  • Conduct and analyse exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data
  • Collaborate with Global HR teams on various HR projects and responsibilities.
  • Additional duties/projects as requested by Management.
  • Process and manage company sponsored immigration visas.
