We are looking to add an experienced HR Administrator for a full-time interim opportunity (14-Month Contract).
Position Overview: Reporting to the Controller & VP of Operations, the HR and OHS Manager will oversee the day-to-day functioning of HR, including the recruiting process and health and safety procedures for Todd Brothers Group of Companies. You will be the forefront of supporting our employees and management team. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to navigate through various platforms will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Diploma in Human Resources or related
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, online recruitment platforms, and an ability to learn additional applications.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Self motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Effective time management
PREFERRED SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ Years in an HR Role
- Preferred experience in construction or related industry
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate recruitment by posting job openings, screening candidates, and collaborating closely with management.
- Manage onboarding and training.
- Maintain Accurate Personnel Records
- Manage Benefit Administration - new enrollments, terminations, and adjustments.
- Support payroll function
- Manage and facilitate performance reviews.
- Coordinate employee vacation.
- Health and Safety Management – Ensure compliance, maintain records, ensure all training is up to date
