Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a hands-on, well-organized and proactive HR Operations Generalist for the HR Operations Team who is ready to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence, maturity, and high integrity, along with an understanding of labor laws and regulatory compliance in the region.
As an HR Generalist you will work very closely with the HR Manager CE and the wider EMEA HR team providing support in a variety of HR processes for the region.
You will provide consultative guidance and support on HR issues and topics across the region as the organisations HR and people practices develop.
This will include but is not limited to administrative and employee requests, payroll, people operations support, benefits, compensation, statutory reporting, administration of performance reviews, maintaining the HRIS, and various other projects. This role is essential to the continued success of the organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You work within all HR administrative processes such as drafting employment contracts and other documents, managing HR files, HR reports, vacation requests and sick leave authorization, and the management of our HRIS
- You ensure correct salary payments within the Central Europe region (currently Germany, Finland, Switzerland). Compliance with regional employment legislation including topics like statutory reporting and external payroll and pension audits are also part of your responsibility
- You are responsible for handling all processes in operational HR management along the entire employee life cycle, thus ensuring a positive employee experience from Onboarding to Offboarding
- You handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- You are involved in international HR projects
- Other duties as assigned
