BioBag International AS is a world-leading company in the development, manufacture and marketing of certified compostable and biodegradable products. We develop, manufacture and market the best sustainable products for waste management, food services, HORECA, retail, industrial applications and agriculture.
We have more than 25 years of experience as a market pioneer in the compostable and biodegradable products industry. We are headquartered in Askim, Norway, with subsidiaries in Europe, USA and partners representing BioBag International worldwide.
We are part of the Novamont Group, a world leader in the development and production of biodegradable and compostable bioplastics from renewable sources.
BioBag had a turnover of MNOK 557 in 2023, with a profit of MNOK 20. The company has a total of 140 employees.
Responsibilities:
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish a global HR policy and procedure that can unite the HR handling for the BioBag subsidiaries, and support on any HR related tasks in BioBag Group.
- Establish travel policy as a global solution for the BioBag Group.
- Secure that all employment contracts fulfil legal requirements at any time.
- Secure administrative systems and control for personnel records, contracts, and other sensitive information. Have adequate filing system for personnel records.
- Handle reporting within HR towards corporate bodies, and handle and update policies related to Code of Conduct, GDPR, Non-disclosures and equivalent.
- Establish HR and HSE related procedures and routines and ensure implementation.
- Work with training schemes to develop functions and individuals.
- Assist management and country managers in recruitment processes. We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is motivated by having a broad and central HR-role in an international oriented company.

To be able to handle the role we think it’s important with some of the following competencies:
- Experience from similar broad HR-role with a broad spectre of responsibilities and tasks.
- Higher relevant education at BSc/MSc degree level, preferably within HR.
- Juridical experience or education from labour and/or business law.
- Good insight and interest of various computer tools.
- Good English skills and preferably international experience.
- Ability to motivate, organize, and respond to employees of many different areas of expertise
